This piece deeply explores our desire to connect, find intimacy and love. What is real and what is illusion, how do we put our heart or armor first? How can we trust? What even are we searching for? In our world today we seem to be struggling more than before to connect.
With knowing more but receiving less we are in a time of total confusion…. What are we searching for?
The piece is written by John Cunnington and will be directed by Sabra Johnson.

Tin
Trần Phước Tín began his artistic journey at the age of three at the District 10 Children’s Cultural House, where he was introduced to and trained in various dance styles such as Modern Dance and Dancesport. Driven by a deep passion for the art of movement, he was accepted into the formal professional training program at the Ho Chi Minh City Dance School at the age of 11.
Since graduating, Tín has performed in numerous works and productions by both local and international choreographers, continuously refining his technique, artistic vision, and professional stage experience. EVA is excited to announce his participation in “Everyone’s Searching For…”.
Nghia
Nghĩa Trần began his dance career in 2009 through a period of self-training and eventually became adept in Jazz, Hip Hop, and Contemporary. With a goal of applying dance to daily life—creating joy and connecting people across borders, ages, and professions through the universal language of movement—Nghĩa always promotes an open mind. He is consistently ready to support and participate in cross-national experimental programs.
He has performed with EVA before but this year we have the pleasure to see him return to premiere the much anticipated “Everyone’s Searching For...”.
trung
Trần Phước Trung’s connection to dance began in his childhood through local classes and community performances. These early experiences nurtured a love for movement, inspiring him to pursue the arts seriously. In his teens, Trung formally enrolled at the Ho Chi Minh City Dance School, where he received professional training in technique and the language of dance.
Throughout his training, Trung focused on developing expressive versatility and finding his own creative voice in every movement. He has joined EVA for their upcoming contemporary evening “Everyone’s Searching For…”.
Nhon
Võ Thành Nhơn is a dancer specializing in Freestyle. Having started his journey with a primary focus on Choreography, Nhơn has built a solid technical foundation that allows him to master a wide range of styles, including Breaking, Hip Hop, Locking, Contemporary, and Acrobatics.
With a contemporary movement style, a striking stage presence, and performance skills honed over many years, Nhơn has been cast as a featured actor and lead dancer in numerous dance productions, music videos, and experimental projects.
This year EVA is proud to have him join “Everyone’s Searching For…”.
